Teilnahmebedingungen:

1. Teilnahmeberechtigt ist jeder Fotograf. Ausgenommen sind Mitglieder des Fotoclubs Sparkasse Lienz und deren Angehörige.

2. Sparten:
a) Freies Thema
b) Naturfotografie
c) Reisefotografie

3. In Lienz bereits gezeigte oder sehr ähnliche Bilder werden nicht in die Wertung aufgenommen.

4. In jeder Sparte können vier Bilder - entweder als Farbdias oder als digitale Bilddateien eingesandt werden:

a) Kleinbild-Farbdias (5*5 cm Außenformat), wenn möglich unter Glas gerahmt.
Beschriftung der Dias: Autor, Bildtitel und laufende Nummer, übereinstimmend mit dem Meldeformular. Setzen Sie bei seitenrichtiger Betrachtung einen Farbpunkt in die linke untere Ecke.

b) Einsendung von Bilddateien: Sie können Sie je 4 digitale Bilddateien auf CD oder per e-mail einsenden.
Die Bilddateien müssen als RGB im Format JPG vorliegen. Die Projektion bei der Jurierung und bei der öffentlichen Vorführung erfolgt mit Beamer. Wir empfehlen das Seitenverhältnis von 2:3, die Bilder können aber auch davon abweichen, solange die kürzere Seite des Bildes mindestens 1024 Pixel groß ist.
Die Dateinamen müssen aus Familienname - Vorname - Bildtitel und Bildnummer 1-4 zusammengesetzt sein und mit dem Nennformular übereinstimmen (z. B. MUELLER_Johann_Sonnenuntergang_2.jpg).
Selbstextrahierende Dateinen (.exe) werden nicht angenommen und auch nicht berücksichtigt. Clubsendungen sind möglich und erwünscht, am besten auf einer gemeinsamen CD.

Wenn Sie die Bilder per e-mail einsenden, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass e-mail und Anhänge nicht größer sind als 10 MB.

6. Nenngebühr: für eine Sparte: € 12,-- oder US $ 15,--, für jede weitere Sparte € 8,-- oder US$ 10,--; bei Clubsendungen ab 5 Teilnehmern 20% Ermäßigung.
Teilnehmer aus Österreich und dem Euro-Raum können das Nenngeld auf das Konto Nr. 0000-009308 bei der Lienzer Sparkasse, Bankleitzahl 20507 überweisen (BIC: LISPAT21, IBAN: AT612050700000009308).
Die Teilnehmer aus allen anderen Ländern bitten wir, das Nenngeld bar der Sendung beizulegen oder die Nenngebühr per Kreditkarte zu bezahlen. Bei Nichteinlangen der Teilnahmegebühr bis zum Einsendeschluss werden die Bilder nicht juriert.

7. Alle Dias und Datenträger werden mit größter Sorgfalt behandelt. Für Verlust oder Beschädigung kann keine Haftung übernommen werden. CDs werden nur auf Wunsch zurückgesandt.

9. Durch die Teilnahme am Wettbewerb erkennt jeder Einsender die Teilnahmebedingungen an und gestattet Abdruck bzw. Duplizierung seiner Dias im Zusammenhang mit dem Wettbewerb. Der Einsender muss über alle Rechte am Bild verfügen. Der Veranstalter übernimmt keine Haftung, wenn ein Einsender gegen Copyright-Bestimmungen verstoßen hat. Die Entscheidung der Jury ist unanfechtbar.

10. Preise: Die drei Tauernkristalle werden für die besten Gesamtleistungen aus vier Dias oder vier Projektionsbildern vergeben, wenn sie zumindest drei verschiedene Themen darstellen. Medaillen von PSA, FIAP, VÖAV, IIWF, Honorable Mentions, Urkunden. Der Wettbewerb zählt für die Statistiken von VÖAV, FIAP und PSA.

Definition von Naturfotografie (FIAP)
Die Naturfotografie stellt lebende, nicht gezähmte Tiere und nicht angebaute Pflanzen in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung dar, sowie die Geologie und die große Verschiedenartigkeit der Naturerscheinungen, von den Insekten bis zu den Eisbergen.
Fotos von domestizierten Tieren, die in Gehegen gehalten werden oder irgendeiner Einschränkung unterworfen sind, sowie die von angebauten Pflanzen sind unzulässig.
Ein geringer Eingriff des Menschen ist annehmbar, wenn es sich um Naturthemen handelt, wie Scheuneneulen oder Störche, die sich einer vom Menschen veränderten Umwelt anpassen, oder Naturgewalten, wie Orkane oder Sturmfluten, die sie zurückerobern.
Das Originalfoto muss von dem Fotografen aufgenommen worden sein, wobei das fotografische Verfahren unwesentlich ist. Jegliche Manipulation oder Abänderung der Originalaufnahme muss sich auf geringfügiges Retuschieren von Fehlern beschränken und darf auf gar keinen Fall den Inhalt der Originalszene verändern.
Nach Erfüllung dieser Bedingungen sollte man keine Anstrengung scheuen, damit alle Naturfotografien dem höchsten künstlerischen Niveau entsprechen.

Definition von Reisefotografie (PSA): Ein Bild, welches die Stimmung zu einer bestimmten Zeit an einem bestimmten Ort ausdrückt, ein Land, seine Menschen, Kultur oder seinen Naturzustand ausdrückt, ohne geographische Einschränkung.

Regulations

1. The competition is open to photographers from all over the world.

2. Sections:

a) Pictorial - Color slides or electronic images for digital/video projection: digital images on CD or as attachment to e-mail.

b) Nature photography - Color slides or electronic images for digital/video projection: digital images on CD or as attachment to e-mail.

"Nature photography is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict observations from all branches of natural history, except anthropology and archeology, in such a fashion that a well informed person will be able to identify the subject material and to certify as to its honest presentation. The story telling value of a photograph will be weighed more than the pictorial quality. Photographs of artificially produced hybrid plants or animals, mounted specimens, or obviously set arrangements, are ineligible, as is any form of manipulation that alters the truth of the photographic statement." c) Photo Travel - Color slides or electronic images for digital/video projection: digital images on CD or as attachment to e-mail.

"It's an image that expresses the feeling of a time and place, portrays a land, its people, or a culture in its natural state, and has no geographical limitations."

3. Slides and images accepted in previous "Tauernkristall" exhibitions, or any significantly similar to those, are not eligible.

Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The exhibition assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates subject to divisional restrictions". All final work must be on photographic film, or on electronic file. Judging order: an entrant's four images per section will be presented to the jurors consecutively.

4. A maximum of four images may be submitted. Entrants may use either of the following submission modes:

a) in the form of color slides (5cm*5cm). The organizing committee recommend mounting slides under glass in normal small frames.
Slide frames should bear the name, surname, title, progressive number (the same as shown on the entry form), and a small red mark in the lower left-hand corner when viewed the right way up.

b) in the form of electronic images on CD.
The files should be JPG-formats in RGB for IBM-PC. Judging and presentation will be by digital/video projection. Therefore, we recommend a side ratio of 2:3, but you may choose a different ratio, as long as the shorter side (length or height) is at least 1024 pixels, with a maximum resolution of 72 dpi.
The filenames should be made up of
<Surname_First name_Title of the image and number> corresponding to the entry form
(e. g. SMITH_ William_Sunset_2.jpg).
.exe-files will not be accepted. Members of clubs may submit all their images on one common CD.

c) in the form of an attachment to an e-mail entry. Please make sure that the attachment does not exceed 10 MB per e-mail.

6. Entry fee: one section: € 12,00 or US$ 15,00; further sections € 8,00 or US$ 10,00. With 5 or more participants per club please deduct 20 per cent. From within the European Union you may transfer the amount into the account of "Fotoclub Lienz", BIC: LISPAT21, IBAN: AT612050700000009308. Bank notes preferred.
Non-EU participants are kindly invited to make use of credit card payment.
The fee includes postage by surface mail for the report cards or notification by e-mail, the catalogue, and the return of the slides. CDs will be returned if requested. Entries without entry fee will neither be judged nor returned.

7. Every care will be taken of slides and CDs entered, but liability cannot be accepted for loss or damage arising from any cause whatsoever.

9. Permission to reproduce any slide and image in the exhibition catalogue or in any publicity material in the course of this competition is assumed unless otherwise stated on the entry form. The original image must be made by the exhibitor on photographic emulsion or acquired with a digital imaging camera. Any modification of the original image must be made by the exhibitor or under his personal direction. Entrants must own the copyright of all images. The exhibition accepts no liability for any breach of copyright by an entrant. Submission of an entry signifies acceptance of and compliance with all conditions of entry by the entrant.

10. Awards: Three marvellous Tyrolian rock-crystals will be awarded for the best combination of four slides or four electronic images presenting at least three different themes. PSA-medals, FIAP-medals, VÖAV-medals, IIWF-medal, honourable mentions. The competition is valid for PSA and FIAP statistics.
